Hear what our customers have to say about the Bailey’s Experience

I just picked up my beautiful David Yurman ring that needed to be resized as I could no longer wear it because of enlarged knuckles. Baileys did a beautiful job of resizing and adding sizing beads to fit better once it’s over the knuckle and keep it from sliding to the side since it’s a large stone. I am very pleased with the repair service as well as always being greeted so professionally by all the staff. Kudos to the whole staff at Baileys Cameron Village store. I can now enjoy wearing my beautiful ring again.

I went into Baileys with the expectation of only looking for an engagement ring for my now fiancé. From the moment I went into the store I was treated with immense amounts of kindness from everyone in the store, from the greeter to the staff that assisted me. I will absolutely be coming back to Baileys for all of my jewelry needs in the future and will be highly recommending them to anyone whom I can moving forward! On top of not only having great staff the pricing is always very clear and defined and is also competitive for what you are getting. Overall easily one of the best experiences I have had when making a large purchase and the entire Baileys family has a new longtime customer in me.

I had the most amazing day at Bailey’s today. The team made my experience so wonderful. They were so helpful, pleasant, friendly and mostly patient with me and my questions and needs. I left with new knowledge about jewelry. I would highly recommend Bailey’s to everyone for any jewelry or gift needs. Bailey’s is the best.

I have been a Bailey's customer for many years. I recently had to have some jewelry appraised and redesigned a diamond ring and had the opportunity to work one-on-one with some of the staff behind the scenes. It was a fantastic experience. The professionals at Bailey's were extremely knowledgeable and more than that, they acknowledged my emotional attachment to the piece and understood my need to get it just right. I recieved excellent advice and guidance. It's important to TRUST your jeweler and I have 100% confidence in the staff at Bailey's. I'll never go anywhere else.

My experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment my significant other and I were greeted, we were treated like family. We were never pressured or rushed, and never asked about our budget - until we brought it up. The manager was extremely personable and even remembered me by name on subsequent visits. We chose to have Bailey's design a one of a kind piece of jewelry for us and we couldn't be more happy with the end result! Do yourself a favor and give Bailey's a try, you won't be sorry.

Our entire family has enjoyed shopping at Bailey’s Cameron Village for several years. Our grown children, who live in Raleigh, have purchased engagement rings, bands, picture frames and other items from Baileys. My husband shops there for work gifts. We both drive over from Chapel Hill to look for special holiday and birthday presents. I’ve taken vintage or inherited pieces to Baileys for repair or redesigning. Besides the vast choice, wide range of prices and superior quality, a main reason we are loyal to Baileys is that we trust them, and after years of enjoying their beautiful store, have never been let down.

I cannot speak highly enough about Baileys, and all the staff. My first visit to the store I was greeted warmly by Nancy, who helped me with picking out an engagement ring. She was so great, made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I had been dating my now Fiance for 8 years, so it had to be perfect, and Bailey's made sure that happened!

The staff and customer service is amazing! They helped me for over an hour and we found the perfect “thank you” gifts for our parents, to be given at our wedding!

We've had nothing but great customer service at Baileys! The staff there is top favorite place to shop for jewelry!!

I've never made a substantial purchase (always under $500, usually closer to $50), but am never treated with anything less than respect when I am here. Great selection, wonderful salespeople, and a great environment. AND I'm offered cookies while I'm there. Doesn't get much better! Thanks, Bailey's!

The jewelry repair man at Bailey’s in the Crabtree is an artist. He sized my wedding and engagement rings perfectly, and my husband said he didn’t remember they were so pretty. I recommend this friendly and accommodating gentleman to anyone needing a jewelry repair.

I can’t say enough great things about the Bailey’s at Crabtree Valley Mall. Always a great experience from the time I walk in the door until the time I leave. The team is amazing and are experts in all areas of fine jewelry. I have never once felt pressured to buy anything, but rather have a trusted advisor that always has my best interest at heart and steers me in the right direction. When buying jewelry, I would recommend no other place than Bailey’s!

Just a note of thanks to Bailey's Fine Jewelry for helping my wife with a bracelet exchange. The bracelet was beautiful but a little too tight for my wife's wrist. Joyce Barnes and the fine staff at Bailey's went 100% to find her a perfect item and to make her very happy . I have been in retail for many years and I recognize fantastic service and wonderful employees. Joyce Barnes is a great asset to your business with her attitude and service. Thanks!

I am very satisfied with the experience that Baileys Jewelry has provided. I shopped numerous high end jewelry stores in Raleigh, Richmond and Boston in the pursuit of the perfect engagement ring for my Fiancé. I could tell by my first visit to Baileys that they focused on providing a welcoming experience to their customers and potential customers. I knew what ring I wanted but couldn't find just what I was looking for in any store. When it was suggested that Eric Clemente in the custom shop could build the ring I wanted to my description I was a bit skeptical. Eric provided me with a 3-D rendering of the ring for my approval prior to the ring fabrication. I was so impressed with Eric's work and his passion for making jewelry that I also wanted him to fabricate my Fiancés wedding band. This time I was able to introduce my Fiancé to the man who personally built her engagement ring; she also was able to observe his passion for creating exceptional jewelry. I feel the custom shop at Bailey's doesn't get the recognition it deserves. I feel that getting the opportunity to meet the craftsman who will be making your jewelry gives the piece more value compared to a mass produced piece that was created to meet a production quota.

I cannot recommend the custom shop at Baileys enough. If you are shopping for an engagement ring or any fine jewelry you won't find a better place.

Bailey's and especially "Max" made our 5 year anniversary very special. She helped my husband surprise me and make our special evening one to remember!! Make sure you look her up, men...she's the bomb diggity!!! Thanks again "Max" & Bailey's...Happy Wife!

My husband and I recently had a wonderful experience at Bailey's. I visited Bailey's for the first time (ever!) to purchase a watch for my husband's 50th birthday. I was greeted warmly at the door and directed to the watch section where Steve, a top-notch sales associate, walked me through the available brands, features, and price-points. He made a stressful visit enjoyable! When my husband opened his watch, he loved it, but it wasn't quite the watch he wanted for his milestone birthday. We visited Bailey's again so my husband could see the impressive selection for himself and decide on his dream watch. We were greeted warmly once again. For this visit, our Sales Associate was Josh and we were equally impressed with his knowledge and demeanor. In the end, we were able to exchange his watch without incident. Every aspect of our interaction with Bailey's, from the greeting upon entering to the farewell upon leaving, was polite yet unpretentious. It's quite obvious that there is a strong focus on training the staff in the long-lost art of customer service. We will definitely be back!

Wow! Where do I start? Took my new Seiko SKX Diver's watch to Bailey's and their service team took very good care of me. Jared removed four of the links for a snug and perfect fit. He cleaned and shined the jubilee bracelet and set the date and time accurately. Jared hooked it up charge free! My girlfriend's father recommended Bailey's and I will have a very hard time switching jewelers anytime soon. Bailey's opened its doors in 1948 and have been giving above par service in luxury ever since and is now my go to for watch and other men's accessories service.

BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! The first time I went to Bailey's was to look at engagement rings with a girlfriend, so my now-fiance would have some ideas of what I like (since I didn't even know). Brenda Martin at the Cameron Village location was outstanding and really took the time to understand me as a person and what I like. I never felt rushed and honestly feel that they can cater to ANY budget big or small, everyone is treated the same. My fiance said that when he went in, Brenda was expecting him and knew him by name (and that was the first time they met). They really pay attention to the details and make everyone feel welcome. Also, everything is done on site, from design to cleaning to repairs, so your ring is never sent out. I know we will be back to make other purchases and I couldn't be happier with my experience. What a great way to start our life together!

Wonderful experience and super knowledgeable and helpful staff. Ms. Joyce B. assisted me in my journey of finding the right/perfect engagement ring, I would absolutely recommend any of Bailey's staff but based on my experience Ms. Joyce is a superstar who went well above and beyond what I was expecting!

This is legitimately the Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory of jewelry stores. M-A-G-I-C-A-L. I'm thankful to the Yelp community for introducing me to this delightful establishment by way of a Yelp Elite event (oh yes I did just status drop). Evidently I was the only girl in Raleigh who didn't know what a Bailey box was before that date.

What impressed me the most about Bailey's is the staff. I went around and spoke to probably 6-7 employees and each one of them loved their job, had been with the company for at least a decade, and had a vast knowledge base of every part of the store that they freely and enthusiastically shared.

Girls, let's have a moment of silence in honor of their engagement ring selection. Oh. Em. Gee. I heard a rumor that there's only one guy on the entire east coast who designs jewelry cases (have not yet confirmed via Google search) and he said the biggest custom engagement ring case he's made has been for the Bailey's location in Cameron Village. I believe him. It's huge. Again, the staff in this arena is extremely well-informed.

Baileys has built a business on being about what they say they're about. They're straightforward, reasonable, and they genuinely appreciate their customers' business, which is why they've been around for so long and why people keep coming back. Side note: you can get your watch batteries replaced free of charge, however they do accept donations in lieu of payment which they pass along to a different charity each month. I'm also told that their watch repair person is pretty impressive, although I can neither confirm or deny from personal experience.

This is the most wonderful jewelry store! Although I live an hour and a half away, I would not hesitate to make the drive for any jewelry needs I have in the future, purchase or repair. The sales staff on the floor is beyond helpful, friendly, and accommodating, and special recognition for Mr. John who came in on his day off to fix my Tag Heuer watch since we live such distance away. THAT is customer service at its finest! Thank you so much to everyone who helped me today so I would not have to make the lengthy trip back to pick up my watch. You all are the best!

Such a lovely surprise to find a fine jewelry store reminiscent of the way jewelry stores used to be, where every associate--without being pushy--treats each person who enters with a determination to be of genuine service. Couple this with a warm, smiling, and knowledgeable staff; an excellent repair team; and the ability to duplicate jewelry to exacting specifications, and Bailey's Fine Jewelry of Greenville has become my new favorite store in North Carolina! My gratitude to the Greenville team for the excellent workmanship on repairing my pearl necklace, and for working with me as I discussed future purchases. A special shout out to Richard from Raleigh: Thank you for expertly duplicating my 14K-gold 9-pointed-star necklace--your craftsmanship is stunningly perfect--and for completing this difficult work in such a short time--and under budget!--so we could not only gift this to our beloved daughter during the Bahá'í festival of Ayyám-i-Há, but get her a beautiful chain to go with it as well.

Recently attended a special event here and definitely plan to return to shop! Whether its jewelry, neckties, monogrammed's the perfect place to buy a special gift for a special someone.

Located in Cameron Village, Bailey's Jewelry is in the perfect location to sip, dine and shop! They are Family owned and the staff seems to operate as one big happy family. Trey Bailey was very passionate to share the story of his family business and salesperson Margarita (like the drink) was fun-loving, friendly and extremely knowledgeable about jewelry, especially pieces designed by David Yurman.

The layout of the store is inviting, bright and warm. One doesn't have to feel intimidated or uncomfortable to shop at Bailey's. If nothing fits in your budget on the day you worries you can place items on layaway and go online and create a wish list.

These guys were very helpful in a answering all my questions about rings gems and stones I feel like less of a freak not wanting a diamond ring if and when I get engaged.

Bailey's is my favorite place in the world! Not just because of the outstanding jewelry and giftware selection but also for the welcoming atmosphere and amazing customer service. The first time I walked into the store, I felt like a member of the family. Nancy has been taking care of me since day 1 and I couldn't be more appreciative of her knowledge, patience and attention to detail. The woman is my hero. She worked with my (sometimes difficult) husband to find my dream engagement ring and continues to help him find amazing pieces for my Birthday, Anniversary etc. Anytime I need a gift or even a little something for myself, I go straight to Bailey's and Nancy helps me find EXACTLY what I need. We have re-located across the country and continue to shop here because there's not a place/person that can compare.

Awesome atmosphere! They really make you feel welcomed. Not just the staff, the management , and owners too. I am so glad Margarita is back! She is wonderful with everyone that walks in the door. Whatever you are looking for, she finds for you. Welcome back Margarita.

I have had many great experiences at Bailey's Cameron Village. This week was a first for me, though...I took some of my old gold and silver in to sell, and was helped by Jamie. He was so patient and thorough, and took a great deal of time with me. I am so appreciative of the kindness and assistance he gave. This store continues to amaze me!

I went into the store to get a watch battery replaced, and while waiting, noticed the impressive design facilities, and that started an adventure. In the end, a few weeks later, we had an exquisite, custom designed pendant for my wife for our 50th wedding anniversary. Fantastic personal attention, creative artistic design expertise, and candid advice to optimize the value for the money invested.

Bailey's provides fine Jewelry along with a superior level of Customer Service. It's not just the jewelry that you go's the people, too. They are so friendly - it is incredibly refreshing. Oh, and the warm cookies, and other refreshments aren’t bad, either. You are always greeted warmly the moment you enter the door. They also create custom jewelry in-house. No sending your beloved jewels away for weeks just for quotes on pricing!! Eric Clemente is incredibly talented and so kind. He hand-made the most beautiful, perfectly-matching band to go with my engagement ring. He always kept me in the loop in regards to the process and went above and beyond to make me happy. Bailey's is a jewelry store that will feel like must go.

I just wanted to take a minute to pass along my extreme thanks for the most wonderful experience through the recent purchase of an engagement ring.

From the moment I entered your Cameron Village store on April 18th and purchased three diamonds, through the design and build process of the setting and ring, and pick-up of the ring on May 23rd…. I was provided the highest level of professionalism, expertise, customer service, care and timely communication that I could ever imagine.

I’d like to recognize two employees that are true ambassadors for Bailey’s Fine Jewelry… Nancy Holt and Eric Clemente. Nancy was greatly helpful in my selection of the diamonds I purchased. She was also very patient while working with me and helping me describe the actual ring setting type and style that I desired. She provided me great ideas and introduced me to Eric Clemente, who provided excellent design expertise and assured me without doubt that he could build the perfect ring. And, guess what… he did!! Words can’t express how satisfied and impressed I am with Eric’s work. The ring he made is simply gorgeous and greatly exceeded my expectations going into the purchasing process. Eric is truly blessed with great vision, creativity and skill in his profession! Needless to say, my experience throughout this entire process was wonderful and upon completion, fully satisfying.

My sincere appreciation to Nancy, Eric and your entire staff for the service and product provided for this most special occasion in my life.

I LOVE Bailey's!!! I wanted a custom engagement ring that had a classic, estate-type feel so I'm so glad we chose Bailey's to help us through the process. The staff at Bailey's are all so sweet and welcoming; they feel like family. Stefanie, the GM, taught my fiancé and me all about diamonds and helped us choose options that fit our taste and budget. Diamonds matching our wishes were flown in so we could hand pick our perfect diamond! From there, the award-winning designer Rich, helped us create the most spectacular ring I've ever seen which will be a priceless family heirloom! People are blown away every time I show it off. If you want great service, and amazing quality, go to Bailey's! Added bonus, they're a local, NC family owned and operated businesses :)

I had my Ball watch regulated by Bailey's. After 6 years of daily use it was losing time and needed to be cleaned, serviced, and regulated. It was delivered to me all polished and shiny like it was when new. I picked it up a couple of days after it was ready so it had to be wound. The first day after that it had gained 15 seconds. After settling in it is perfect. I gain maybe 2 seconds a day and setting it crown up at night it sets back about 2 seconds. After 4 days it is still at the original +15 seconds, not having gained anything after settling in. I'm very satisfied with the work performed on my watch.

I just wanted to thank you for the exchange of my watch yesterday. Brad was so very helpful and I found the perfect watch for me. I really enjoy shopping with you and always feel welcome in your store.

What could you not say good about Bailey's. Bailey's not only offers fine Jewelry, but fine customer service and great hospitality at all their locations. To shop at Bailey's is an experience all on its own. Some may believe that they only cater to a specific social class, and that's untrue. They offer jewelry and other fine merchandise, which is available at great prices for any & everyone. Thank you Bailey's for always being there. After nearly 20-years of shopping with you guys, I've never been disappointed.

Mr. Bailey,
Once again your team came through! I have been to a number of other jewelry stores and you staff makes it the best (that is not to say your store is not terrific as well). They are hands down the friendliest, happiest and most accommodating in Raleigh. Carolyn befriended my fiancees daughter and this is no easy task. She played and talked with her and it meant the world to me and my future wife.
I knew after designing and buying her engagement ring from your store that I had made the right decision. Every time since that I have returned it has been a pleasure to do business with everyone there.
I'll stop there. Just know there is more that I could say but don't worry we will be back soon.
Once again thank you!

I would just like to thank Bailey's for the wonderful customer service with Mr. Gill in your Crabtree location. This was my very first time looking at engagement rings with my boyfriend and the experience was priceless. Not only was he helpful and kind- he was able to listen to me and with the statement "I've got the ring for you" I completely trusted him and his judgement. Although the ring sold itself, he added absolutely no pressure and both my boyfriend and myself felt as though we made a friend. I found the ring of my dreams, and although don't have it yet... I know who will be contacted when this purchase is made. Once again, thank you Mr. Gill and Bailey's.

Oh my goodness...I was moved to tears when picking up my engagement ring in it's newly designed setting!!! Having gone into Bailey's last month to repair my worn out setting, I was encouraged by my husband to reset my diamond. Eric was very thorough and helped me determine what would best suit my needs. I met with him on several occasions at his prompting to make sure he was clear on the ring design. Eric called me on Tuesday and said the ring was ready. When he pulled the ring out of the Baileys's box I was BLOWN away ! The ring totally exceeded my expectations.!!!! I didn't expect to be moved to tears but I was! My husband went with me to pick up the ring and he and I were amazed at the craftsmanship and the detail that Eric put into my ring. I was speechless! BEAUTIFUL...UNBELIEVABLE....STUNNING!!! Eric is amazing and I would definitely recommend Bailey's and specifically Eric for impeccable jewelry design and craftsmanship!

I visited your store in Cameron Village yesterday November 18 in hopes of selling my wedding set. I was received by David at the front door and he assisted me with signing in and showing me to the lounge to wait. After waiting for a while he came back and apologized for the wait. I explained that I was not in a rush. Jamie came and showed me to a office and assisted me with the options that I had available to me. I explained that I was recently divorced and wanted to sell the ring but I would like to keep my diamond. He said that would be fine and as I was getting emotional about everything he helped me to calm down. In the end, I was able to sell my ring but keep my diamond that is oh so special to me. Thank you so much Bailey's for all that you do and for the special people that you employ. I will definitely be returning for my future purchases.

Laura Louis-Charles

Visiting Bailey's is always such a pleasure. We recently made the decision to sell some old jewelry and we can not say enough good things about their gold buyer, Jamie. Instead of just working in complete and awkward silence, Jamie was kind enough to explain the different tests he was performing on the metal and walk us though how they calculated the total value of the pieces. It was so nice to be able to have a sincere conversation and learn something new at the same time! We will definitely be back, and always recommend Bailey's to our friends and family.

Had a great experience selling estate jewelry and gold to Baileys today! Dana Johnson, a graduate gemologist, worked with us patiently and even stayed after closing. Jamey Drennen, the gold buyer at Baileys, went above and beyond to stay an hour after closing to help us finish up our sale and jewelry repair claim! I would recommend their service to everyone!

My experience with Bailey's started years ago when I was planning on proposing to my now wife. We met a wonderful salesperson there named Thomas, who helped me secure the perfect engagement ring. Thomas and the rest of the staff were always very courteous and friendly, and are genuinely trustworthy. My wife and I had visited every jewelry store in the area, but kept coming back to Bailey's because of the warm and welcoming atmosphere (and my wife's eye for their passion cut diamond). We also bought out wedding bands at Bailey's, however more recently they gave us the best experience we've ever had to date. A few months ago, my wife's grandmother passed away and left her, her wedding band and engagement ring. We weren't quite sure what to do with it, but I suggested we take it to Bailey's and see what they thought. We met again with Thomas, who introduced us to their master jeweler, Chris Strickland. They both helped us design a custom ring incorporating the stones from our original engagement ring, as well as my wife's grandmother's. Not only that, but Chris was able to use all of the gold from both rings to form the setting for the new ring. It turned out beautiful, and is now a custom and irreplaceable piece that will become a family heirloom. My wife could not stop crying in the store, and several of the other salespersons had shown it off to other customers prior to us taking it home! Fantastic craftsmanship and unmatched customer service! We will always be Bailey's customers!

My boyfriend (now fiancé!) and I had been searching numerous places for engagement rings. We had just moved to the Raleigh area so our best bet was to check out reviews online. We found Bailey's while searching and decided to stop in and check out their selection. Boy, were we impressed! Every single employee of Bailey's was welcoming and friendly! We felt right at home. We sat down with Margarita Allen to discuss what we were looking for and had an absolute ball! She was not only knowledgable, but very light-hearted and entertaining! We couldn't stop laughing while talking to her. I told her what I was interested in and she showed me several designs and options. I ended up falling in love with a ring I never could've pictured myself getting! (Goes to show it's important to go into a consultation very open-minded!) We ended up purchasing the ring that day and my fiancé picked it up 3 days later. Their financing options are wonderful and the staff is very interested in making sure you have a fantastic experience. They even fixed my necklace (for free, I may add!) and it was done within 10 minutes. Bailey's definitely goes above and beyond in their efforts to make sure you are comfortable and having fun. If you're in Raleigh and looking for a classy establishment, stop into Bailey's and ask for Margarita's assistance! :)

Good afternoon, I would like to say thank you to a wonderful salesperson, Margarita Allen. She is an outstanding salesperson at Bailey's Fine Jewelry. She offers fantastic advice and has a remarkable personality. It goes without saying, that Margarita is an asset to Bailey's. Keep up the remarkable work, Margarita--See you soon. :) Sincerely, A highly-satisfied customer, Renay

I had my Tag serviced recently and just got it back. My watch is running better than new! Keeping great time, cleaned nicely and repaired well. Very happy with their service work. Everyone was friendly and nice. I highly recommend based on this experience.

After shopping with my future fiance (now wife!!) at several other jewelers, we couldn't find any engagement rings that matched her unique style and my desire to give her a ring as beautiful as she is. We spoke in broad terms to Nancy Holt and she suggested the idea of a custom ring. Nancy introduced us to Rich Nobrega. The clarity of Rich's vision and passion quickly convinced us this choice was right for us. I removed my lovely bride from the process to maintain an element of surprise which gave me some pause. However, the entire Bailey's team at Cameron Village rallied to support me and guide me through it. To a person each Bailey's member was attentive, kind, and celebrated with me. Rich is a true artist and was able to move from concept to delivering a gorgeous, custom piece. What resulted was a true miracle for us and a perfect way to start our married lives together!! Everything was perfect from trust to service to quality of materials to artistry. We look forward to our continued relationship with Bailey's for our fine jewelry needs. Kudos to Nancy and Rich in particular. We love y'all!

I love stopping in Bailey's while shopping at the mall. This location has friendly staff and a great selection. I am huge fan of David Yurman and I am always able to find something fun to try on or purchase. Definitely worth someones time to stop by and browse.

Great customer service! Aside from the obvious, that they have a beautiful and robust selection of jewelry, the staff at Bailey's really goes above and beyond to help. I was in this afternoon to get a chain on a charm necklace fixed and they took care of it at no charge, which I was not expecting! My husband and I both have purchased several pieces in the past from Bailey's and have always been pleased. I will continue to support them in the future!

Bailey's is by far the best. Their staff exemplifies the professionalism and knowledge that other jewelry stores should strive for. Bottom line is that I would not go anywhere else!

I had been shopping for a wedding ring for months, and I went into several jewelry stores in the Raleigh area. But, I kept coming back to Bailey's because I felt I could truly trust them. Their staff always treated me so kindly, every time I have gone into the store. They helped educate and encourage me along the way. Reggie and Bill were my saving grace in finding the perfect engagement ring for my beautiful fiance. I am looking forward to doing business with them for years to come. I know that my future wife and I will be able to depend on them for the best quality workmanship, materials, and service.

The staff at Bailey's in Crabtree is always friendly and helpful. I have been there several times to find jewelry for both myself and family. They always seem to understand my style and help me find something within my budget. Their jeweler Chris, has made me some custom pieces that are fabulous. He always takes the time to explain the details to me and I really appreciate that. Go to Bailey's at Crabtree for a great experience!

Bailey's greatest asset is their fine staff of sales associates. The first time I shopped at Bailey's in Greenville I was greeted courteously, never rushed, and certain that the people there legitimately wanted to help me…mission accomplished. Since that initial visit I have never hesitated to recommend Bailey's and have made it my only choice for quality jewelry and expert assistance.

I needed a Luminox watchband repaired and because I had had such a bad experience in Philadelphia, I went online to see where I could send it for repair. I chose Bailey's in Raleigh and they were gracious and helpful and repaired the watchband AND gave me a new battery for no cost. That is really above and beyond and I greatly appreciated this courtesy.

I had my grandmother's wedding ring fixed for my own wedding at Bailey's. They finished replacing the broken band several days earlier than predicted. Unfortunately the band became cracked about a week later, but when I called and explained they were able to get my ring fixed for free within a couple days. Such great, quality customer service, and great craftsmanship (the crack that developed had to do with material not work site/quality). Thanks! Highly recommended.

I purchased my fiance's engagement ring here. This is no easy task for a guy like me, however, thanks to Nancy and the rest of the Bailey's team, the process was very enjoyable! They provide the level of service I would expect when making that size of a purchase without sacrificing the quality of their products. If you're looking to avoid the 'Walmart' type jewelry stores but are afraid of the high prices of the 'mom and pop' boutiques then Bailey's is for you! Go see Nancy at Bailey's in Cameron Village!

A fantastic business. Went in to get a new battery for a watch, and guess what - no charge. They do accept cash though to donate to toys for tots. This shows the business really cares about the community they live in. That's not all, as soon as I walk in, they offer me a cold beverage, and showed me to a plate of homemade cookies. They had a big screen TV with football on while I waited, I even helped myself to another drink- which was coke in a classy glass bottle. I liked it so much, I decided to buy a gift for my sister. I have no clue how to pick out jewelry, but a helpful salesperson guided me to a perfect monogrammed bracelet, only 25 bucks. If you need any jewelry or service on your watch, this is the place to go. This a a really special place, a real part of the community.

I love this place! The staff is wonderful. There are Hershey's kisses everywhere. They offer you beverages and snacks. Bake cookies. Really impressive. Plus, they're just really nice.

I had them reconstruct a ring that was sort of falling apart, and I had them create a new ring based on a fake one that I really liked. Rich did all the work, and he really is an artist. They were both beautiful. Better still, I had him create mock-ups of both rings when I first went there. I couldn't afford to do both, so I only did one. [Yes, they're expensive, but they're good, and they stand behind their work.] Anyway, they kept the mock-up (digitally created image to show me what the ring would look like based on the diamonds I gave them to use from another ring I didn't like anymore) for a couple years, and when I could afford it, I came back, and they made it...and beautifully. It was even more beautiful than I expected. Also, I had them fix the posts on two earrings (one pair they were too long and another, they were too short; I asked them to use the extra from one to put on the other). They did a great job, and that actually was very affordable. Lastly, one of the rings they made I felt like was a bit too tight. They enlarged it (cutting the back and adding more gold), and they didn't charge me for it. They also did it within 30 minutes. Very impressive. Like I said, they stand behind their work. Anyway, like I said, I love this place.

I'm a simple girl. I wear the same Claddaugh ring and white gold chain every day without fail. You could even call me boring (but don't). However, when my dad wanted to buy a 30th anniversary piece of jewelry for my mother, I was glad to be of assistance/emotional support for a man out shopping. I suggested we meet at Bailey's in Cam Village, for starters.

His original plan was to buy her a sapphire and diamond tennis bracelet, and we'd kind of use me as a size-road-map (Mom and I both have the same, weird, dainty wrists). The sales girl was incredibly helpful and showed us a STUNNING bracelet that was - oh you know - about double my dad's intended budget. I tried it on for a sec, so we could see how it would look, before I begged the girl to take it away. "Can. Not. Have. Please. Remove. Thanks." Too bad, that thing was beautiful.

We discussed budget a little more in depth with the Bailey's saleswoman, and then worked our way over to the rings (though I stopped to stare longingly at a ring that VERY CLOSELY resembled Princess Di's/Kate Middleton's massive sapphire. *SIGH*) We looked at a handful of three-stone settings, big sapphires with side stones, some channel settings, etc. We settled on a fantastic pronged setting with alternating sapphires and diamonds. Dad breathed a sigh of relief at the "task" being as easy as it was and I texted my beau about how I'm never going to be The Duchess of Cambridge.

Women in my family have the tendency to RETURN gems given to them by their husbands/fiances, in order to pick something out together after the fact. This was not the case with Mom's new ring from Bailey's. She texted me (from their anniversary dinner, no less) telling me how beautiful it was, how surprised she was and thanking me for helping my dad pick it out. Sounded like a win to me!

I needed a watch miracle. I have the most handsome Citizen Eco-Drive which was also coincidently (and purposefully) is a mens watch, that I NEEDED to fit my extremely slender wrist. No small feat in my overly dramatic mind and therefore I could not just trust any old jeweler with amateurs manning the sizing gun - I needed watch experts. Baileys had me at "Advanced Restoration" and "Sure, we do that all the time. 20 minutes?"

So I browsed. David Yurman, estate jewelry, Michael Kors, Tags, Rolex's, and DIAMONDS OH MY! I sat down to prevent money from flying out of my wallet as quick as, "ohhh lots-o-shiny, I'll take it." There's a little oasis in the back of the store with plush(ish) chairs, cookies, and beverages (bottled water and bottled Coke -score!) and a flat screen TV, Virginia was playing Duke. Surprisingly, it wasn't all men in this little dugout, they wisely knew not to let wide-eyed wives or girlfriends loose unsupervised in a jewelry store, could get expensive, very expensive...

Also surprising was how many people there were in the store late Saturday afternoon. It wasn't crowded, but there were a lot of people milling about and they all seemed to know each other, somewhat amusing in a "we're all friends here" type of sentiment.

As promised my watch was done in 20 minutes, sized perfectly, and most amazing of all - free of charge. Way to win future customers!

I could not be happier with my experience at Bailey's Jewelry. Kelly B. and Josh B. were an absolute pleasure to work with. I have spent months shopping for a diamond and countless hours doing research (online and with several brokers) for the most perfectly cut diamond. The crown and pavilion angles, along with table/depth percentages and star length significantly determine the sparkle and "fire" of a diamond and its performance.

All of the diamonds I looked at were GIA graded "triple ex", however the one at Diamond's Direct (that I nearly purchased) I later found out was what is referred to as "steep and deep" and was on the fringe of being "triple ex" certified. It was still a fantastic diamond, just not the absolute best which is what you expect in a "triple ex".

The diamond Bailey's found was the very best of GIA "triple ex" and fell within AGS's "triple zero" category. The price was also just as competitive as Diamond's Direct, Blue Nile, White Flash and significantly better than CMI Jewelry (who so kindly faxed a price sheet with their "standard markup" fee to an open fax machine at my office without my knowledge).

The diamond Bailey's found for me was proportionately...perfect! The absolute best cut. Trust me, there's a huge difference. Everyone my fiancée has run into has complimented on how it's the most sparkly ring they've ever seen, even complete strangers. Check out and Holloway Cut Advisor for the "techy" details about the cut.

What I also noticed was they had a large staff and all of their work was done onsite, with a small family environment. Nothing against small stores, but I liked knowing they had enough staff there to take care of anything my fiancée needs if something happens. Growing up in Raleigh I've always been familiar with the Bailey's brand name and their outstanding quality. I just couldn't be happier with the outstanding price, exceptional quality and family atmosphere I experienced at Bailey's. Oh yeah, and my fiancée likes to brag about her Bailey's box! :)
