Philanthropy: Locally Owned and Giving Back

Bailey’s has been locally owned and operated in North Carolina since 1948 and giving back to the communities that support us has always been part of who we are. Since the beginning, we have always said that we are in the relationship business and that being a local business means a lot more than just providing beautiful jewelry. We make it our personal mission to spread love and positivity through our communities through our Love More Campaign, and our philanthropic efforts are one way that we bring our Love More Campaign to life. Whether you are giving time, money, resources, or positivity, it’s always important to Love More. The world needs it.

Say ”I do!” Share the Love

Bailey’s Engagement Ring Initiative benefits our friends at the Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC.

For EVERY engagement ring purchased from any Bailey’s location, we will donate funds to purchase 250 meals that will help feed a North Carolina family in need for an ENTIRE month. At Bailey’s Fine Jewelry, we believe that we are in the Love business. It’s very important for us to show our Love back to the community in our actions. The Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina is one essential way that we do that.

Bailey’s is proud to give back to the community we know and love through our “‘Say I do’ Share the Love” campaign. There are many needs in the world but we are proud to focus on fighting hunger right here at home. Learn More about Share the Love and ALL of Bailey’s Engagement Ring Benefits.

Bailey's A Time to Give Program

A Time to Give is one of the numerous ways Bailey’s Fine Jewelry gives back to the community. The Bailey family came up with this innovative program as a way to provide watch battery replacements for their patrons and support the community at the same time.

Patrons can visit any Bailey’s Fine Jewelry store location (Raleigh’s Cameron Village and Crabtree Valley Mall, Cary’s Fenton, Rocky Mount, or Greenville) and receive a free replacement watch battery. Bailey’s Fine Jewelry absorbs most of the cost of replacement batteries and service time, which typically range anywhere from $10 to $15 per watch, and asks instead for a charitable donation. Each store selects a non-profit organization to which donations are directed on a month-by-month basis. Over the years Bailey’s Fine Jewelry has observed patrons donating anywhere from $1 to $200 to the A Time to Give program in exchange for their new watch battery.

Since its inception in 2008, this program has donated more than $950,000 to the communities that Bailey’s Fine Jewelry serves.
