Spring Trend: Watches
By Lindsay Priester on April 9th, 2012
In the blink of an eye North Carolina weather has promptly transitioned from winter to spring and as you move your spring and summer clothes to the front of the closet, don’t forget to do the same with your accessories.
There are a few spring 2012 trends that we think you should know about, especially when it comes to timepieces. Watches have always been a classic accessory for women and men alike, but this spring’s trends put a twist on your classic watch. One of the major trends is the wraparound watch. The wraparound comes in all shapes, sizes, colors, and materials, but the idea is that it wears more like a bracelet than a watch. Whether you love leather or pearls, the wraparound is something you can find in your unique style. You have the option of simply wearing the wraparound alone, or you can mix it up with other bangles. Check out Pandora for the wraparound watch in multiple colors and designs.
Another big trend in watches for spring is the color brown. There are currently many styles to choose from when it comes to buying a watch from classic leather watches to athletic watches to futuristic digital watches. However, deep brown seems to be the way to go regardless of the style of watch that suits your personality. So whether you own one classic watch or numerous styles, remember that brown is a definite this spring. The David Yurman collection is a great choice for those of you who value the classic watch.
For those of you who want your watch to do more than just tell time, be sure to check out our BALL watch selection. Many of our BALL watches have special features such as night readability, thermometers and G Shock Force resistance.
