Spring 2016 Jewelry Trends: Go Bold!
The weather is finally getting warmer, the azaleas and dogwoods are in bloom and the new spring jewelry looks are here! This year jewelry is trending BOLD! Think chunky, oversized and embellished pieces that perfectly accessorize your spring wardrobe. Here are some of our favorite looks for the season.
Chunky Bangle Bracelets
Need an instant wardrobe update? Add a chunky bangle. Or five. A John Hardy bangle (top) is one of our must haves. These bracelets work with everything from a t-shirt and jeans to a cocktail dress. Stop by Bailey’s to check out the full selection of colors and styles. Looking for one bracelet that does it all? Try this horn bracelet from Ankhole Designs (bottom). The color goes with everything and the large size means you can go light on your other accessories.
We all know that diamonds are a girl’s best friend, but these showstopper rings are really making their case. Gone are the days of delicate bands – adorn your fingers with a ring that will set you apart! We particularly love these two from David Yurman (top). If you’re looking for something a little less glitzy, try a ring in solid gold like this one from John Hardy (bottom).
Every fashionista knows the perfect outfit is not complete without a necklace. Statement necklaces are a necessity this spring. Whether short and chained like this Ippolita (top) or long and tasselled like this Cassis (bottom), statement necklaces will not only complete your look, but will land you a plethora of compliments!
While there will always be a place for small studs, this spring turn heads with oversized, embellished earrings. Try this bold blue pair from Ippolita (top) or these summer gold beauties from John Hardy (bottom).
BOLD is the word when it comes to jewelry trends this spring. Stop by any of our Bailey’s locations to get the looks seen above or to create your own. Special thanks to some of our Cameron Village neighbors Sugarland and Tin Roof Teas for sustaining us with food and drink during our photo shoot and to Hailey’s Boutique for letting us use their pretty turquoise store as a perfect backdrop! Happy Spring, y’all!
