Our Favorite Jewelry Looks from the Golden Globes
By Lindsay Priester on January 13th, 2016
Did you catch the Golden Globes on Sunday? While we love gawking over the dresses, too, we’re obviously obsessed with the jewelry. There were some stunners this year! Clearly, big, oversized pieces were the order of the day! Here are our top picks for the best dressed in jewelry.
Her fabulous diamond bib necklace was the perfect juxtaposition to the simplicity of her gown. Featuring more than 150 carats in diamonds, you don’t need earrings with a necklace like this!
Emeralds were Taraji’s choice of the day and they were perfect. Her drop earrings feature more than 100 carats of emeralds and diamonds. Those in combination with her fabulous pear shape diamond ring definitely demanded some red carpet attention.
Gold is officially back to stay (thank goodness!) and we love the look of Olivia’s statement collar necklace. The leaf design conveys some bohemian earthiness while the gold keeps it current and polished.
What a throwback! We love the 1970’s vibe of Olivia’s entire look, especially her vintage Bulgari sautoir with carnelian intaglio and diamonds. It was the perfect complement to her burgundy gown and matching eye makeup.
Diamonds are a girl’s best friend and that JLo isn’t one to make enemies! Her fabulous cascading drop diamond necklace and diamond wreath necklace were perfectly accented by a pair of fancy yellow diamonds of almost 16 carats.
