Bailey’s Fine Jewelry is a family business and one with deep roots in North Carolina communities. As Native North Carolinians, our family is invested in the local community, its people and the organizations that are making a difference.
One of the best parts of my job as Director of Development at Bailey’s Fine Jewelry is heading up the A Time to Give program. A Time to Give is a philanthropic initiative that began in 2008 in which customers can receive a free watch battery replacement in exchange for a donation to the month’s designated charity.
We give to a variety of different charities, but they are always organizations that are making a difference in the communities in which we live and work.
The numbers are in from 2011 and I’m proud to report that we gave almost $30,000 to local North Carolina charities and non-profits. Thank you to everyone who donated for giving back and for making my job such a rewarding one.
North Carolina isn’t just where we operate our businesses, it’s home. Your donations through the A Time to Give program help us show how invested we are in these great communities we are lucky enough to call home.
