Show Will Feature Pieces from Elizabeth Taylor and Other Celebrities
GREENVILLE, N.C. (Mar. 26, 2012) – Bailey’s Fine Jewelry will host its largest Antique and Estate Show in store history on Friday, March 30 in the Greenville store location. The show will include pieces from the Bailey’s Estate & Antique Collection, as well as the renowned Singer Collection.
The Singer Collection from New York will provide customers with the opportunity to see unique pieces that are not regularly available for purchase in the store. Some of these unique pieces include jewelry previously owned by Cher, John Wayne, Tony Curtis, Bob Hope, Frank Sinatra, Better Midler, and last but not least, Elizabeth Taylor, whose collection was recently auctioned at Christie’s New York for over $156 million.
Like Bailey’s, the Singer Collection is rich in history. The Singer Collection was founded in 1982 by Stephen L. Singer and is a continuation of his family business which began in 1901. Located in New York City, Singer houses one of the country’s most extensive collections of estate jewelry. The collection includes Victorian, Edwardian, Art Deco, Retro era pieces and other precious heirlooms.
The show will feature over $3 million worth of inventory, with pieces ranging from $50 to $50,000.
