Repair & Design Consultant

The role of a Bailey’s Repair & Design Consultant plays a key part in the success of Bailey’s business. This role is about giving legendary customer service in your department with excellence. We strive to do our jobs with EXCELLENCE. As a part of the repair consultant team, you ensure the give all patrons extraordinary service, offer them jeweler repair options and suggestions, and execute all responsibilities of your department with excellence. Company core values, service standards, processes, and procedures should be executed consistently with excellence. In this role, you must be able to multi-task while always putting the patron first. Clear communication skills with patrons and jewelers for descriptions of jewelry repair and imperative. Your role is to help advise our patrons in the repair options necessary to keep treasure jewelry in new condition.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work directly with patrons and deliver a great customer service experience
  • Evaluate jewelry to suggest repair options to patrons
  • Watch repair evaluation
  • Clean and check jewelry
  • Create basic repair estimates on the spot with patrons
  • Deliver jewelry repairs for patron pick up
  • Use the POS system to take in repairs, cashier repairs, and make detailed notes of repair options
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of all product categories
  • Ensure adherence to company retail operating and security procedures
  • Partner with the support team in the repair process and follow up on customer communication
  • Embrace and utilize technology to enhance customer experience
  • Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring that the patron takes priority at all times
  • Fully support and align with all key business initiatives
  • Remain current and knowledgeable of industry trends, to determine opportunities to maximize sales within the market
  • Collect meaningful customer data for the purpose of building relationships and personalizing future client development opportunities

Desired Skills:

  • Previous retail or luxury retail sales or relevant clientele focused experience
  • Proven track record in achieving sales results

Sales experience necessary; luxury sales experience preferred. Most importantly, you must have a passion and love for beautiful jewelry.
