Diamond Empowerment Fund is an international non-profit organization empowering African youth through education to be the next generation of leaders in African countries where diamonds are found.
We currently support three institutions preparing these future leaders. CIDA City Campus in South Africa. African Leadership Academy based in South Africa and the Top Achievers Program in Botswana.
Diamonds For Good

CIDA City Campus
South Africa’s first non-profit university to offer a four-year degree boasting an 80% employment rate among graduates.

African Leadership Academy
Founded with the belief that ethical leadership and entrepreneurship is the key to sustainable development on the continent.
ALA graduate, studying medicine in the United States: “I hope to change the health system in my country of the Democratic Republic of Congo so that anyone, regardless of his or her ability to pay will be able to receive medical treatment.”
Botswana Top Achievers
Top Achiever Scholar studying biomedical engineering in the United States: “I intend to use my communication skills, technical knowledge in biomedical engineering an medicine to create cutting edge medical devices to make life easier for the African population.”
