David Yurman in a New York State of Mind

I just got back from New York City! I travel there twice a year to meet with our top designer brands. This trip, I focused on David Yurman’s Spring Collection. I love spending time at David Yurman’s office. It is so fashionable! It’s in SOHO and overlooks the Hudson River. David Yurman even has a personal Zen garden in his personal office. When you buy at Yurman you never know what to expect. This year for the men’s collection they re-created a SOHO loft in which they displayed the new pieces.  This loft was Evan Yurman’s (David’s son) inspiration for the new line. Evan Yurman is a true artist, and he wants people to understand what inspires his creations.

For his Spring Collection, David Yurman is really inspired by pink. Due in stores in January, his rhodochrosite dog tags are a sure hit! The stone, which is a pink opaque with beautiful, neutral color variations, is perfect for the woman who wants a stylish edge to her look. It comes with and without diamonds for under $1,000.00.

Also focusing on pink, David Yurman is introducing a new stone to his Silver Ice Collection called Morganite. I have been a fan of this stone for many years. In fact, Trey and I gave one to his sister, Morgan, several years ago. I believe every Morgan needs a Morganite! J Unlike the rhodocrosite, Morganite is a soft pink sparkler. It looks great with every skin tone and in every season. I am really excited to see everyone’s reaction to this relatively unknown stone used in a classic David Yurman look. Additionally, this spring cuffs will be the thing to be seen wearing. And, no one does a cuff better than David Yurman. There are several new styles in gold and silver that will knock your socks off! I can’t wait to wear them myself.

Every time that I travel to the Big City to select the newest jewelry creations I get so excited and I hope that you will be too when you see all that David Yurman has to offer in his Spring Collection.
