Bailey’s Fine Jewelry Announces 2008 Employee Award Winners: Rocky Mount Store and Corporate Winners

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (June 18, 2009) – Bailey’s Fine Jewelry is pleased to announce 2008 Employee Award recipients for the Rocky Mount store location and corporate office. Three employees were recognized from the corporate office and five employees were recognized from the Rocky Mount store at the annual awards banquet that was held at the Benvenue Country Club.

Kelly Allen received the Core Values award for the corporate office. Linda Ross received the Core Values award for the Rocky Mount store. The Core Values award winner is voted on by fellow associates and is given to an individual who exemplifies the core values of Bailey’s Fine Jewelry, which include honesty, integrity, professionalism, sincerity and graciousness to name a few.

Ross also received recognition for 30 years of service.

Joanne Carr received the Top Salesperson of the Year award for the Rocky Mount store. This award is given to an individual who not only had top sales performance in 2008 but also went above and beyond for his or her patrons and fellow associates and was a team player.

Carr was also recognized for 20 years of service.

Caroline Stussie was recognized as the Hugger of the Year for the corporate office, and Donnell Battle received the Hugger of the Year award for the Rocky Mount store. Hugger of the Year is awarded to the person who best exemplifies the ideas and traits learned in Bailey’s employee training program.

Joyce Bennett of the Rocky Mount store was recognized for 40 years of service.

James Heidelmeir, who worked in the corporate office, was recognized for 15 years of service.

Angela Starkey of the Rocky Mount store was recognized for 5 years of service.
