Bailey's Fine Jewelry Announces 2009 Employee Award Winners
ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (May 26, 2010) – Bailey’s Fine Jewelry is pleased to announce the 2009 Employee Award recipients for the Rocky Mount, Greenville and Raleigh store locations and for the corporate office. Employees were recognized at the annual awards banquet, which was held at the RBC Center in Raleigh.
The Core Values award was presented to one member from each of the three Bailey's Fine Jewelry stores and one member from the corporate office. The Core Values award winner is voted on by fellow associates and is given to an individual who exemplifies the core values of Bailey's Fine Jewelry, which include honesty, integrity, professionalism, sincerity and graciousness. Recipients of this award include Angela Starkey for the Rocky Mount store, Joyce Satterfield for the Greenville Store, Steve Ninich for the Raleigh store and Chrystal Blow for the corporate office.
Four employees were recognized as the Hugger of the Year, an award given to the person from each store or office who best exemplifies the ideals and traits learned in Bailey's employee training program. Recipients of this award include Joanne Carr for the Rocky Mount store, Linda Thomas for the Greenville store, Jeff Murphree for the Raleigh store and Chrystal Blow for the corporate office.
Top Salesperson of the Year is an award given to the individual who not only had top sales performance in 2009, but also went above and beyond for his or her patrons and fellow associates and was a team player. This award was given to Donnell Battle for the Rocky Mount store, Linda Thomas for the Greenville store and Margarita Allen for the Raleigh Store. Both Thomas and Allen received this award for the second year in a row.
Steve Ninich from the Raleigh store was presented with the Outstanding Service award, which honors the most valuable person in the company. This award is based on behind-the-scenes work and is given to an individual who consistently exceeds the expectations of the everyday job, and puts the interests of patrons, co-workers and the overall company above his or her own. This award is only given to one employee company-wide.
The Award of Excellence was awarded to Claire Bellefeuille, an employee of the Raleigh store. The Award of Excellence is awarded to one employee company-wide who exhibits outstanding growth and is an extremely valuable asset to the company.
Tom Staton, an employee of the Raleigh store, was awarded the Outstanding Contribution award for 2009. This award recognizes an employee who repeatedly goes above and beyond the expectations of the everyday job and puts the interest of the overall company above his or her own.
The Outstanding Growth award was given to Jason Colmenero, an employee of the Raleigh store. This award recognizes a team member who took his or her current role to the next level.
Crystal Corbett was selected among all the new employees as the Rookie of the Year for her outstanding work as manager of the Greenville store.
Chrystal Blow from the corporate office and Margarita Allen from the Raleigh store were also recognized for five years of service. Mimi Richardson from the Raleigh store was recognized for 15 years of service.
