To really get us in the Christmas spirit, Clyde and little Bishop made an appearance on WRAL’s Telethon to benefit the Salvation Army’s Coats for Kids Program. Each of our stores collected money for the organization through our a Time to Give program during the month of November and thanks to all of you, our wonderful patrons, we were able to donate over $3,000 to this wonderful cause. I know we say it a lot, but our patrons really are the best in the world.

Christmas is a special time of the year to the Bailey family. We love all of the festivities, decorations and holiday cheer, but always think it’s important to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas – the birth of Jesus Christ!

If you haven’t heard about the new Christopher Radko ornament, you’ll be glad you know now because it is the perfect gift for Bailey’s shoppers and features the iconic Bailey Box. The Christopher Radko Company, well-known collectible and ornament designer, has honored Bailey’s Fine Jewelry by creating an exclusive Christmas ornament, with the help of Bailey’s own Claire Bellefeuille. The ornament is an Old World European style glass ornament and will be available exclusively at all Bailey’s locations. The ornaments will be sold for $45 of which Bailey’s will donate $5 to the Salvation Army’s Christmas Cheer program.

Our holiday events always spread Christmas cheer, and they start this week with a manufacturer’s overstock event at our Cameron Village store from Nov. 14 –17. Diamond bracelets, earrings, pendants, mountings and bands will be discounted up to 50 percent. Greenville and Cameron Village will host designer events on Nov. 16 and Nov. 17, respectively. The designer events will feature some of the country’s leading designers including Armenta, Alexis Bittar, Michael Kors, Mikimoto, Marco Bicego, Jude Francis, Ivanka Trump and Slane.

Digging for Diamonds at Kenan Stadium at UNC and Carter-Finley Stadium at NC State will take place at halftime during each team’s football game on Nov. 24 as UNC takes on Maryland and NC State hosts Boston College. One lucky Tar Heel and Wolfpack couple will each leave the field with a $10,000 diamond ring!

Early December brings two very special personal appearances. On Dec. 1 Ellen Cassels, senior manager of limited edition collections at David Yurman, will visit our Cameron Village location. She will bring the latest David Yurman collections and be available to answer any questions you may have. On Dec. 5, two of our favorite North Carolinians, Heath and Landon Slane of Slane, will stop by Cameron Village for a personal appearance. These are both great opportunities to get some Christmas shopping done and get advice from some professionals!

Following our personal appearances, there is still more holiday fun! We are hosting an Ippolita trunk show in Cameron Village on Dec. 13. and Crabtree and Rocky Mount will both have Slane trunk shows from Dec. 14-15.

The Gem Show will be Oct. 11 until Oct. 13 at our Cameron Village location. We will be featuring precious and semi-precious stones that are loose or mounted all at discounted prices.

Bailey’s Fine Jewelry in Cameron Village is hosting an Ippolita Trunk Show on Oct. 25. Come by the store to check out the latest designs and the new pieces that the Italian-born designer has added to her well-known collection. From Oct. 25 to Oct. 27, there will be a special gift with any Ippolita purchase.

November is John Hardy Focus Month at Bailey’s. On Nov. 3, our Greenville store will host a John Hardy Trunk Show. Then, on Nov. 10, we are excited for the special opportunity to host the designer who has produced some of John Hardy’s best-selling collections, Guy Bedarida. Guy is the head designer and creative director for John Hardy and is coming to Bailey’s for a trunk show and press event. You will have the chance to take your picture and talk to Guy personally!

Also on Nov. 10, you can win a $12,000 Bailey’s diamond ring in Greenville! Greenville’s 2nd Bailey’s Ultimate Finders Keepers is a one-day, real world treasure hunt around the city. All locations and challenges will be delivered straight to your cell phone. You just grab a teammate, solve challenges, and earn points to win!

Two of our stores will be hosting designer events. On Nov. 16 in Greenville and Nov. 17 in Cameron Village, there will be extra merchandise from all of your favorite designers.

Finally, all of you Tar Heel and Wolfpack fans can look forward to Digging for Diamonds. On Saturday, Nov. 24, Bailey’s will host Digging for Diamonds, an on-field search for a diamond ring at Kenan Stadium and Carter-Finley Stadium. One lucky Tar Heel and Wolfpack couple will each leave the field with a $10,000 diamond ring!
